I'm Richie. I shoot weddings in Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and beyond. And if you're the kind of couple who'd rather be dancing than posing, we're probably going to get on just fine.
While you were dancing, I was there.
The look between you during the first song. Your mum trying not to cry during the speeches. Your best mate doing something ridiculous on the dance floor at half ten.

Something happens when the Polaroids come out.
While you're sitting down to your wedding meal, something arrives at your table.
A handful of Polaroid prints from earlier in the day. Candid, real, already developed. Passed around by your guests before the speeches have even started.
It always causes a moment.
People gather round. Someone laughs. Someone tears up a little. And suddenly your wedding photos aren't something you wait six weeks for — they're part of the day itself.
It's one of my favourite things to do and your guests never see it coming.

WE had a fantastic time
We had a fantastic time with Richard at our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. It was a very laid back wedding with Rich only taking the official photos that Emma And Dan wanted. The rest was left up to Rich capturing loving and special photos. Can't wait to see the finished album.

Hi, I'm Richie.
Based in Minehead. Slightly obsessed with honest photography, rustic venues, bouncing dance floors and street food wedding vibes.
I started this in 2017, completely self-taught, because I realised that the best moments happen when nobody's looking at the camera. Seven years and hundreds of weddings later, I still believe that more than ever.
I have a fiancée, two kids, a rescue dog called Luna, and a genuine inability to take a bad dance floor photo.
